City View - Greyhound Bridge, Lancaster
Our City View development offers 30 apartments for rent in Lancaster, overlooking the river Lune. The £3.3million development was joint funded with the HCA and Lancaster City Council. City View was completed in March 2012 by Seddon Construction on the site formerly owned by the Lancaster Railway Sports and Social Club.
The Architect for the scheme was Preston based HLP (Halsall Lloyd Partnership) who have recently helped to produce another wonderful scheme for us in Morecambe.
The architect helped us deliver a spectacular development using traditional stone finish, curved render walls and modern steel balconies. Once you enter the sweeping driveway and approach the building, you pass communal gardens and plenty of car parking spaces. You are then met by an impressive curved render wall above a glass atrium that gives a sense of grandeur to the building. Each apartment has a balcony with the balconies to the front of the building benefiting from breathtaking views of the river Lune, the cathedral opposite and town centre.
City View offers a mix of 24 x one bedroom apartments and 6 x two bedroom apartments, two of which have had adaptations to allow for walk in showers and low level kitchens for wheelchair users.
