A Fun Day for all.Coverage on a Residents’ Fun Day organised in Miles Platting by Adactus Housing Association in partnership with Zest and Sure Start.  The successful Fun Day had a ‘cleaner and greener’ theme promoting energy efficiency and recycling.  Activities included recycling workshops, kite making, bouncy castle, nail art and five-a-side tournaments.

Protests fail to block flats on Southport tennis courts winning go-ahead.Update on a previous story, reporting on the success of Adactus to gain planning permision for the development in Ashdown Close, Southport.  Local Councillors have given the green light for the three-storey block of flats on the former tennis courts site in Kew.  More>>

Community members dig in.More than 30 residents took part in this clear-up project in Miles Platting organised by Adactus Housing Association with Manchester City Council’s Campigns Team and Probation Services.  Residents helped clearing up Miles Platting and add a splash of colour to their neighbourhood.  Adactus will be organising more similar events in the coming months.
