North East Manchester Advertiser – 12 February 2009 Coverage on Adactus’s over 55′s walking club organised in Miles Platting as part of the Ramblers’ Association’s national ‘Get Walking Keep Walking’ campaign. Staff from Adactus and volunteers from the Walking Campaign join local residents at the Trinity Methodist Church on Butler Street every month to go out for walks. The event allows local residents to socialise and has been very successful with excellent turnouts each week.

Regeneration & Renewal – 09 February 2009 Coverage on Adactus’s £1.9 million development in Leigh, Wigan to provide housing for those with mental and behavioural difficulties. Adactus co-funded the development with the Housing Corporation, and worked in partnership with the Richmond Fellowship that will be running the project. The development, designed by Ark Design has received a commendation for its innovative design from Wigan Council in its Urban Design Awards 2008.    Â
