John Pugh,  MP for Southport, has planted a tree to mark the official opening of Adactus Housing Association’s 18 homes for rent at Brewery Place, off Upper Aughton Road, Birkdale.  The scheme comprises a mixture of apartments and three and four bedroom houses for rent. Work has started on the construction of 14 new homes for rent in Adlington by Adactus Housing Association. The properties, which comprise 5 bungalows, 5 houses and 4 flats, are being built across two sites at Acresfield in Adlington. The homes are being built by Adactus Housing Association on land provided by Chorley Community Housing (CCH), who will manage the properties once they have been completed. A £1.75m housing scheme has been completed by Adactus Housing Association in Trafford. The 16 new flats for rent have been built by Adactus in partnership with Trafford Council at Bowfell Road in Urmston, Manchester. The scheme has been funded by the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) under the Affordable Homes programme.
