Seven community groups have scooped funding for their projects thanks to ‘Miles Platting You Decide’, a community funding project run by Adactus Housing Association. This is the second year we run the fund successfully in Miles Platting where £10k is made available for local community groups to bid for.  Local residents help decide which projects will receive a share of the fund. A forum for housing PFI contractors to meet and discuss issues of mutual interest has been set up. The first meeting of the group, held in Manchester, was attended by seven contractors managing PFI projects from around the country.  The group was led by Adactus Housing Association, who as part of the Renaissance Consortium, provide housing management and maintenance services to approximately 1,500 council homes on Manchester’s Miles Platting estate.
