Adactus ‘BIG’ funds St Peter’s Quiet Garden
St Peter’s Quiet Garden have been awarded funding from the Adactus Breathe Investment Grant (BIG) to purchase a new picnic table and renovate a section of the garden.
The community garden, located in Birkdale, is open to everyone all year round. In 2015, the garden attracted over 1200 visitors. The picnic table is a great benefit to the garden as many visitors, especially families, bring food and drink when visiting.
Susan Hiley from St Peter’s quiet garden said; “We are very grateful for support given by Adactus. Everyone loves the garden and its surroundings, especially the children that visit. In May & June 2017, we will be taking part in the National Garden Scheme to help raise money for nursing & caring charities”
Adactus Enterprise & Funding Administrator, Claudine Harrison-Draper said; “It’s great to support such a beautiful project that adds beauty to the nature in the area and also gives access for the community to enjoy throughout the year. It’s good to see all the diverse projects coming through this year benefiting different communities from the funding that we provide.”
